Melbourne Magistrates’ Court Energy Assessment

Background Challenge

Court Services Victoria engaged Carbonetix to conduct a Type-2 energy audit for Melbourne Magistrates' Court. MMC is the largest court of Victoria with 18,307 sqm facility includes legal offices, court rooms, custody centers and carpark. The HVAC system comprises of air-cooled chillers, gas boilers, AHUs, and exhaust fans.

Energy Management Review

CarbonetiX conducted a detailed energy assessment of the facility, covering lighting, HVAC system, Building Management System (BMS) and building fabric. Following opportunities were identified:
