Nikita is a passionate civil and environmental engineer with a strong focus on sustainability and infrastructure.
Nikita’s experience ranges from water quality assessments to developing digital audit tools to support HSE auditing systems. Nikita has worked as an assistant site engineer at a metro tunnel boring project, where she assisted in supervision of pre-cast tunnel segment production. This included raw material inspections, concrete production, steel cage fabrication, demoulding, aesthetic finishing and stacking among other responsibilities. During her experience with a major mining firm while located at an alumina refinery in central Queensland, she has undertaken several stormwater quality assessments, compliance sampling, air emissions testing, soil investigations, waste tracking, environmental incident investigations, risk assessments, legal documentation, environmental management systems at tailings dam, among other roles. Nikita has a strong affinity towards project management and has had experience as a project lead during asphalt works across the refinery and has also conducted sub-catchment hydrology assessments for the refinery. While she enjoys being on the field, she has also been recognised for her contribution to HSE audit and field interaction systems as an iAuditor developer. During her role as a forensic engineer in Melbourne, Nikita has participated in residential structural assessments as part of insurance reporting. This has given her a critical eye for details. She has also spent time training clients on generating solar PV proposals for residential solar energy market in Australia.
While Nikita is known for her people-orientation and social skills, she has a strong focus on technical details. She is a sustainability driven professional and has a keen interest in the area of sustainable infrastructure and development.

Matthew is a graduate Environmental Engineer from Monash University and has a passion for sustainability. Minimisation and management of energy use is of extreme importance to him and the community as a whole. His engineering degree has given him a good basis of knowledge in civil and chemical engineering, energy use and production, analysis and report writing. In 2016 Matthew worked for Monash University in the Planning team of the Buildings and Property Division. In this role he worked with the Mechanical Asset Engineer to oversee the planning stages for the installation and upgrades of mechanical assets within buildings across all Monash campuses. The mapping skills he learnt through his studies enabled him to further develop his work with North East Ecology, a small consultancy specialising in ecological assessment. Matthew worked with North East Ecology for field assessments on a casual basis for about 8 years. Within his field work was included vegetation identification, mapping, Habitat Hectare assessment; also providing GIS and IT support. Since completing his studies Matthew has spent some time focusing on a variety of hobbies, primarily vegetable growing, which has been a showcase of both his creativity and project management skills. His creativity evolved whilst coming up with a logical, accessible and effective layout of his garden; deciding what to grow and how much to grow; and how to set up an efficient watering system. It then progressed to a point of continual improvement, whereby noticing small opportunities for change can lead to better time and water efficiency, improved soil health and better plant and vegetable quality.
