Agriculture Victoria
Carbonetix conducted energy assessment in 157 agricultural farms across Victoria including dairy, piggery, cropping, poultry, winery and horticulture.
The objective was to provide detailed and un-biased advice on energy efficiency and own-generation opportunities tailored to individual farm businesses. We also helped farms to contact the suitable technology providers.
DEWLP
CarbonetiX was engaged by DELWP to conduct Type 3 audits across Victoria, including consumption sites at Heidelberg, Ballarat, and Bendigo. The objectives of these audits were:
- To identify practical and innovative energy and water efficiency opportunities
- To formulate findings in a detailed report for each site
- To identify efficiency improvements at each site, including costs and predicted annual savings
- To inform of the wider social, environmental, and economic factors
- To deliver the project findings to key stakeholders.
Beacon Lighting
Beacon Lighting operates two distribution centres located in Derrimut and Parkinson.
Carbonetix has been engaged to do an energy assessment to perform a feasibility study and produce a solution to reduce high power bills that consisted of up to 28% demand charges of the entire bill.
Court Services Victoria
Court Services Victoria engaged Carbonetix to conduct a Type-2 energy audit for Melbourne Magistrates' Court.
MMC is the largest court of Victoria with 18,307 sqm facility includes legal offices, court rooms, custody centers and carpark.
The HVAC system comprises of air-cooled chillers, gas boilers, AHUs, and exhaust fans.
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre MSAC
A desktop energy management review was undertaken to identify potential opportunities for energy efficiency or renewables across four sites which include:
- HVAC Scheduling
- Lighting upgrade
- Increase Solar PV capacity
- Power factor Correction
- Detail investigation of the pool pumps to scope optimization.
Nufarm Australia
Nufarm manufactures agricultural products at a facility west of Melbourne in Victoria
CarbonetiX provided a metering solution to track power load (active and reactive) as well as other metrics such as power factor.
In total 9 circuits have been monitored for over 2 years with no interruption
