School Heating Review
A heating review is an assessment of a school’s heating system. The aim of the review is to:
- Assess the existing heating systems serving the school and their general condition
- Assess the effectiveness of the systems in sustaining occupancy comfort
- Assess the viability of repair or replacement options of current heating systems in order to increase thermal comfort, reduce maintenance overheads and running costs
- Provide upgrade options that are quantified in terms of energy and greenhouse gas emissions savings, estimated implementation costs and financial payback
The outcome of the review is delivered in a report that can then be used to prioritise capital investments and apply for any available government funding.
