Scope is a not-for-profit organisation that works to support those living with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities. They support more than 6000 people at home, school and in the community, with numerous service locations across Victoria.

Murrindindi Shire Council engaged CarbonetiX to audit seven of their highest energy consuming sites and produce an engagement video for internal and community stakeholders. Sites audited included the Municipal Offices, Alexandra Library, Council Chambers and Shire Hall, and two community centres. The audits were funded through the Victorian Adaptation & Sustainability Partnership.

In 2012, Moreland City Council sought to become recognised as ‘carbon neutral’ under the National Carbon Offset
Standard (NCOS). NCOS is the only Federal Government supported standard for carbon neutrality in Australia.
With XX staff, YY buildings and ZZ vehicles, applying to be NCOS was a huge task. Across all of Moreland City Council’s
operations, analysis of a range of emissions sources was required.

CarbonetiX analysed and assessed the operation of ten GWMWater sites and made recommendations for the implementation of cost-effective engineering solutions to reduce utility consumption and costs.

The implementation of the heating control system reduced the amount of heating in unoccupied rooms. As a result, system efficiency was optimised and LPG use was reduced.

The Colac Otway Shire Council is located approximately two hours to the south west of Melbourne. Prior to the initiation of the solar feasibility study, Council had worked with CarbonetiX for energy audits on some of their highest energy consuming sites. These audits identified a number of potential energy efficiency projects defining potential financial and environmental benefits.
