Banana Shire Council engaged CarbonetiX to develop a greenhouse gas inventory for the 2012/13 financial year.

A lighting upgrade to energy efficient LEDs for the common areas was identified as a key opportunity as a part of the audit. CarbonetiX worked with the Owners Corp to complete the lighting upgrade across the carpark and corridor areas within budget. As CarbonetiX is accredited under the VEET scheme to provide financial incentives for lighting upgrades, the project cost was significantly reduced.
