How energy efficient is your building?
With Australian energy costs on the rise, smart organisations are looking at how they can manage energy consumption and peak demand. But how can you manage what you don’t measure?
The CarbonReal-Time energy management system lets you see the energy consumption of buildings, rooms, appliances and machinary in real-time. This allows you to pinpoint wastage and identify areas where you can become more energy efficient.
About the system
The CarbonReal-Time energy monitoring system comprises both hardware and software components that combine together flawlessly, giving you the ultimate energy management tool.
Mix and match monitoring equipment to meet your requirements
Our hardware is flexible to your data monitoring needs. We can tailor CarbonReal-Time to only monitor what you want to monitor. Types of data that can be collected include:
- Electricity Consumption
- Electricity Generation / Solar PV Tracking
- Gas Consumption
- Temperature Data
- Water Consumption
Monitor individual circuits
CarbonReal-Time will not only provide energy monitoring tailored to your specific needs – it also acts as a power usage meter for individual circuits.
Pinpoint inefficiencies
By metering individual circuits, you can discover exactly how much electricity your lighting, heating, air conditioning and machinery are consuming. This information can then inform control settings and behaviour patterns and reduce energy costs.
Understand how and when your facilities use energy
We live in a world overflowing with information … and lacking in understanding. Electricity usage monitor data is great – but what does it tell you? How can you use it to check against baseline data or benchmarks?
This is where powerful reporting capabilities set CarbonReal-Time apart as an energy management tool.
Comparison Reporting
Compare the energy consumption (or generation) of any meter. This is especially useful for reports on changes made over time to lighting, HVAC or machinery.
Graph Multiple Metering Points
This functionality enables the user to pin point the main areas of energy use within a building.
Dual Scale Meter / Circuit Comparison
This enables the user to compare the selected meters on a different axis. This facilitates analysis, such as comparison of Solar PV vs Main Energy or Temperature data vs Energy Usage.
Trend comparison
This is useful for interpreting base load and spikes in energy usage over longer time periods.

Cost & Installation
How much would you spend to save tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars on energy each year? The short answer is, comparatively little!
Installation: $4,000+
Installation includes the cost of all hardware and labour. You will own the equipment outright, which is comparible with most monitoring and data processing systems. The cost of installation will vary depending on number of meters, size of building etc. A typical system for one medium sized building i.e. offices is $4,000.
Software: $350 p.a.
This yearly subscription gives you access to our energy monitoring and management software. This software is constantly being developed by our in house team. This also covers secure offsite data storage.
